Read Parsons Field: Even Teenagers Needed a Place to Play by Thomas Petraitis

Parsons Field was a stadium owned by the East Saint Louis School District and was used by high school football and track teams as well as for a wide variety of public events. After a fouteen-year period of abandonment, developers demolished the field for an expansion of the Parsons Place subdivision.
