The landmark marquee at the French Village Drive-In was installed in 1945 and was manufactured by C. Bendsen Company of Decatur, Illinois. After appearing as an item on eBay in fall 2005, the marquee was recovered by salvage specialist Larry Giles and now resides in the collection of the St. Louis Building Arts Foundation.
